Morgan Stanley also believes supply constraints could intensify further through 2027 and 2028, as AI-related demand continues to outpace industry capacity.
This assessment is consistent with comments from SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung, who recently warned that global memory supply could remain constrained well beyond 2026 and that 2027 may become one of the most challenging years for memory availability.
